The classroom teachers should be trained by an accredited Montessori training centre. The school should be CCMA accredited or in the process of attaining accreditation which means that the school is adhering to the rules and regulations of the CCMA including respecting the proper student-teacher ratio of 8:1. The ultimate objective and focus of the school should be a respect for the child as an individual.
